Penn College Partners with FanWord to Expand Athletics Content

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College Athletics is putting artificial intelligence to work inside its content strategy. The Wildcats have agreed to a partnership with FanWord — the leading AI-powered storytelling technology company in college sports — to bring FanWord Assist to its athletic communications department.

FanWord Assist is specifically built for the day-to-day activities of college sports communicators, supporting them in the creation of game recaps, feature stories, player bios, award nominations, and other storytelling content.

"We're excited to partner with FanWord to expand and elevate our content creation," Penn College Assistant Director of Athletics Matt Blymier said. "FanWord's suite of tools will provide us more opportunities to engage with our supporters by showcasing the incredible accomplishments of our student-athletes."

Penn College joins FanWord's roster in good company. The platform already supports more than 200 future-focused athletics organizations across every level of college sports. Among them are United East peers Cedar Crest, Penn State Berks and Penn State Harrisburg.

"Penn College has built its name on hands-on, applied technology, so it's only fitting to see that same forward-thinking approach shape how the Wildcats tell their story," said Chris Aumueller, CEO of FanWord. "We're proud to give their staff the tools to share more of what makes Penn College athletics special."
