WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – A trio of Penn College student-athletes were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Division III Softball Team, the organization announced. Sophomores
Payton Crawford (Bloomsburg, Pa.),
Astyn Calaman (Elizabethtown, Pa.), and
Carissa Lusk (Lititz, Pa.) all earned the honor for the first time.
In order to be selected to the all-district team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore or above, maintain a 3.50 GPA or higher and have competed in 90% of the institution's contests or have started in 66% of the contests during the season. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances
OR pitched 35 innings.
Crawford collected her second all-conference award after hitting a blistering .453, and a .777 slugging percentage. The first team catcher set new program single-season marks with 18 doubles, six home runs and 47 RBI.
Calaman settled in as a third team designated player all-conference selection with a .255 batting average, with 26 hits, six doubles, 15 RBI and 19 runs scored.
Lusk started in 36 games for the Wildcats, with a .323 average, on 40 hits, with 23 RBI and 31 runs scored.
