Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming College handed Penn College an 83-61 loss in a non-conference women's basketball game Sunday. The Warriors improved to 8-1, while the Wildcats fell to 3-4.
Jamie Steer paced PCT with 13 points and
Hannah Schoenly added 11.
Charese Bova tallied her sixth straight double-double with 10 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.
Danielle Mowery and
Alicia Ross each added nine points for the Wildcats.
Senior
Nicole Reyes-Molina played her final game for Penn College and finished with eight points and five rebounds.
Three players reached double figures for Lycoming, led by Shelby Mueller's game-high 16 points.
The Warriors built a 9-0 lead early in the game and increased their lead to 14, 29-15, with 7:50 remaining in the opening half. Penn College answered with a 7-0 run, six from Schoenly and one from Ross, to pull within seven, 29-22, with 5:07 on the clock. A technical foul on Penn College led to four unanswered points by Lycoming and the Warriors led 43-27 at halftime.
Lycoming dominated the second half and led by as many as 27 at one point.
Penn College returns to action Jan. 7 at Lancaster Bible College.
