Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster Bible College remained unbeaten this season with an 87-54 win over Penn College in a women's basketball game Wednesday. The Chargers improved to 3-0 NEAC, 5-0 overall, while the Wildcats dropped to 2-2, 3-5.
Jamie Steer recorded a double-double for Penn College with 12 points and a team-high 13 rebounds.
Alicia Ross netted a team-best 18 points for the Wildcats.
Four players reached double figures for Lancaster Bible, led by Aubrey Folger's 25 points. Folger, who added 18 rebounds, joined Shanice Smith (18 points, 13 rebounds) in the double-double category. Katy Stover added 19 points for the Chargers and Kristen Webster finished with 10 points.
The first five minutes were competitive with three ties and one lead change. The Wildcats evened the game twice on a
Charese Bova layup at 15:39 and Steer's layup a minute later that evened the game at 12-12. Lancaster Bible separated itself with a 14-2 scoring run before leading 41-26 at halftime.
The Chargers held a double-digit lead the entire the second half.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 2 p.m., hosting Gallaudet.
