WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Penn College dropped an 8-1 decision to Susquehanna University in a non-conference women's tennis match Tuesday. The Wildcats wrapped up their fall portion of the season at 0-4, while the Crusaders improved to 2-2.

Melissa Stabley improved to 3-1 with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Kelly Furlong in No. 1 singles. Stabley earlier teamed with Carolyn Krasley in a highly competitive No. 1 doubles, where the Penn College duo fell 8-6 to Allison Lobell and Abagail Ransom.

Krasely battled in three sets against Eliza Griffin in No. 2 singles. Griffin won the first set, 6-4, before Krasley took the second 6-2. Griffin outlasted Krasely in the third set 12-10.

Penn College is continues its season in the spring March 24 at Lycoming College
