WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 9-0 decision to Penn State Berks in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's tennis meet Saturday. The Lions improved to 5-1 NEAC, 6-9 overall, while the Wildcats dropped to 2-5, 2-11.
The tightest doubles match was No. 2 where Megan Antosy and Erin Ginther edged
Rachel Gordon and
Rachel Walker 8-4.
Melissa Stabley won one set in No. 1 singles, falling 6-2, 2-6, 6-4, to Nandita Munindra. Penn State Berks handled the rest of the singles with ease.
Penn College wrapped up its regular season. The seeding's for next week's NEAC tournament will be released Sunday night.
