WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College earned its first victory with an 8-1 win over College of Saint Elizabeth in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's tennis match Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 1-4, while the Eagles dropped to 0-1.

Penn College won four of five competed singles matches. Melissa Stabley, Megan Barlett, Erin Jacob and Valerie Kubalak all earned wins for the Wildcats.

Stabley and Morgan Blackwell teamed up to win No. 1 doubles and Jacob and Barlett picked up a win in No. 2 doubles.

Penn College returns to action Thursday at Lycoming College.
