WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 6-3 decision to Lycoming College in a non-conference women's tennis match Thursday. The Wildcats fell to 1-5, while the Warriors improved to 1-5.
Melissa Stabley improved to 4-2 with a 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 win over Sophie Herzing in No. 1 singles.
Megan Barlett earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory in No. 4 singles and
Jane Herman earned her first collegiate win with a 6-1, 6-2 win in No. 6 singles.
Lycoming College swept the doubles competition, which became the margin of victory.
Penn College returns to action next Friday at Lancaster Bible College.
