Box Score DU BOIS, Pa. – Penn College knocked off Penn State Du Bois, 4-3, in a non-conference baseball game Thursday. The Wildcats improved to 6-4.
Penn College took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning after
Brittan Kittle belted a double and touched home on
Richard Lennon's RBI double.
Evan Vigna's fielder's choice in the in the fifth plated
Dylan Scaringi, who reached on a double, to make it 2-0.
The Lions made it 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning before Penn College added runs in the sixth and eighth innings.
Noah Esposito knocked in a run on groundout in the sixth before
Richard Lennon plated the eventual game-winner in the eighth with a RBI single.
Aaron Palmer improved to 2-0 after fired five innings, allowing just three hits.
Devon Sanders allowed two runs in three innings of work before
Andrew Gilbert threw the ninth to earn the save.
Kittle finished with two doubles, while Lennon also picked up a pair of hits.
Penn State Du Bois did not proved stats.
