WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College's baseball team will make its second trip in three years, to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Baseball Playoffs this weekend at Bucknell University.
The Wildcats, a No. 2 seed, will take on Penn State Berks Friday at 11 a.m.
Penn College finished 23-11 overall this season at 11-4 in the NEAC.
The Wildcats, the 2015 NEAC Champions, split with all three teams in the tournament this year. Penn College beat Abington 11-10 and lost 10-7, dropped a 19-4 decision to Berks before winning 15-6, and knocked off Keuka 5-1, before dropping an 8-7 decision.
Penn College had three players named to the North Eastern Athletic Conference team with
Max Bair and
Ben Flicker being named to the first team and
Brittan Kittle earning Second Team honors.
Flicker was also named the Rookie of the Year.

Because of rain in the forecast on Saturday, the conference has decided to adopt the following schedule in a double-elimination format:
Friday, 8 a.m. – No. 1 Penn State Abington (15-21 overall, 11-3) vs. No. 4 Keuka (17-16, 9-6)
Friday, 11 a.m. – No. 2 Penn College (23-11, 11-4) vs. No. 3 Penn State Berks (17-19, 10-6)
Friday, 2 p.m. – Loser of game one vs. loser game two
Friday, 5 p.m.- Winner of game one vs. Winner of game two
Saturday, 9 a.m. or Sunday 8 a.m. – Winner of game three vs. loser of game four
Saturday, 12 p.m. or Sunday, 11 a.m. – Winner of game four vs. winner game five
Saturday, 3 p.m. or Sunday 2 p.m. – as needed
