Box Score 4 MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Penn College is 0-4 at the midway point of their Spring Break in Myrtle Beach this week. The Wildcats lost to Benedict College, 9-7, Mount Aloysius, 11-2 and 10-3, and Catholic University, 15-3.
Against Benedict,
Benedict used a seven-run fifth inning to take control of the game, then held off Penn College as it rallied with four runs in the eighth inning and two in the ninth — the final PC run scored on a double by
Jacob Carles.
Alex Zelger and
Colton Riley each had two hits for Penn College while
Cole Hofmann drove in two runs and
Richard Lennon scored twice. The Wildcats stranded 10 base runners.
Devon Sanders took the mound loss, after allowing just one run in four innings.
Against MAC,
In the first game, Riley had two of the Wildcats' four hits and drove in a run.
Nathan Holt went four innings in his first pitching start of the season and took the loss. In the second game, Lennon went 3 for 3 at the plate with a run scored. Starting pitcher

Against Catholic,
Carles went 2-for-3 at the plate and
Trevor Dolin took the loss after four and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs (1 earned) on four hits and striking out four.
