CLARKS SUMITT, Pa. – Penn College had four players compete at the North Eastern Athletic Conference women's tennis championship Saturday and Sunday.
Amber Janelli went 0-2 at No. 2 singles with a 6-0, 6-3 setback in the first round, and an 8-3 loss in the consolation finals.
Alexis Youse fell in the first round of No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-1, and dropped an 8-4 decision in the consolation finals.
Cassie Shook dropped a 6-0, 6-0 match in the first round at No. 4 singles, and fell 8-2 in the consolation finals. Marci Harman fell 6-1, 6-3 in the first round of No. 5 singles, and lost 8-2 in the consolation finals.
Youse and Shook teamed up at No. 2 doubles, falling 8-1 in the first round and 8-1 in the consolation match.
