WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College knocked off Cazenovia, 90-79, in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball game Saturday. Penn College improved to 3-6 overall, 1-1 NEAC, while Cazenovia fell to 3-6, 1-1.
How it Happened: Penn College used a 10-2 run to close out the first quarter with a 28-20 lead. After Cazenovia rallied to tie the game at 30-30 early in the second quarter, PCT used a 14-5 spurt to end half, ahead 44-35.
Penn College led the entire second half, taking its largest lead, 48-37, on a
Madison Klock layup early in the third before leading 65-58 at the end of the period.
Inside the Box:
Madison Klock scored a game-high 25 points for Penn College, dished out eight assists and grabbed seven rebounds.
Tori Wolfe and
Cassi Kuhns both finished with 15 points,
Maci Ilgen finished with 11, and
Keyona Shoff added 10. Wolfe also grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
Danielle Caivana finished with 23 points for Cazenovia.

Britni Mohney said. " To produce 26 assists and to control the basketball with 12 turnovers; we took care of the ball today. This is our third game shooting 40% from the field and higher, so we can see our confidence rising.
"I am extremely proud of our efforts today; we put 40 minutes of basketball together.
Madison Klock has been a huge game changer for us in this new year on both ends of the floor; she is heart and hustle."
