LEWISBURG, Pa. — Penn College men's golfers totaled 317 to finish first Wednesday in a tri-match at Bucknell Golf Club. Sean McNamara fired a 74, tied for first, to lead the Wildcats.
How it happened: McNamara was 4-over on the par 70, 6,224-yard course, while Alex Acree was third with a 78, Will Orwig was fourth with an 81 and Trevor Keaton tied for sixth with an 84. Also for Penn College, Karson Felty tied for ninth with a 94.
The field: Susquehanna University finished second in team competition with a 335, while Lycoming College didn't field a full team. Individually, Susquehanna's Andrew Galletta shot a 74 to tie with McNamara in a 12-player field.
Up next: Penn College will compete in the Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational at Lebanon Valley Country Club on Oct. 18.
