LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn College senior midfielder Chris McFarland (Coatesville, Pa.) was named United East Men's Soccer Second Team All-Conference, it was announced Thursday. It was McFarland's third career all-conference honor, making him the first player in program history in the NCAA era to earn three all-conference awards.

McFarland, who earned second team all-conference as a sophomore and junior, finished with three assists this season as a defensive midfielder.

"Chris was responsible for shutting down the opponents attacking mid throughout the match," Penn College coach Tyler Mensch said. "He is a tireless worker all over the field and prides himself in winning 50/50 challenges and starting the counterattack for our team."
