Wildcats clip Ravens

Box Score BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Penn College won its second-straight game with a 15-9 victory over Rosemont in a nonconference men's lacrosse game Wednesday. The Wildcats improved to 6-5, while the Ravens fell to 6-6.

How it happened: Penn College took an early 2-0 lead after goals from Quinn Caviola and Greg McClune. Rosemont answered with two straight to even the game at 2-2 but the Wildcats netted the next five out of six goals to lead 7-3 with 5:11 left in the second quarter. PCT led 9-4 at the break.

The Wildcats opened the second half with four straight scores – including two from Caviola – to build a 13-4 lead.

Inside the box: James Thatcher finished with a game-high six points with four goals and two assists. Brandon Kuczma and Caviola both finished with three goals and McClune added two.

James Cella picked up the win in goal with 13 saves.
