Wildcats earn first win over Clarks Summit

Box Score CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Penn College earned its first win this season with a 3-0 victory over Clarks Summit in a nonconference women's volleyball match Tuesday. The Wildcats improved to 1-2, while the Defenders fell to 0-4.

How It happened: Penn College cruised to a 25-14 win in the first set, 25-11 in the second, and 25-16 in the final set to secure its first win of the season.

Inside the box: Christine Limbert secured a game-high eight kills for the Wildcats, Cheyenne Stein recorded a game-best 17 assists and seven aces, and Coryn Oswald picked up a game-high nine digs for Penn College.

Up next: The Wildcats return to action Friday, 7 p.m., hosting Penn State-Altoona.
