Box Score HARRISBURG – Penn College went to-to-toe with the three-time defending conference champion, Penn State Harrisburg and came away with a 2-2 draw in men's soccer action on Saturday, Sept. 30. The Wildcats improve their record to 5-3-3 and remain unbeaten in United East action at 1-0-2 while the Lions move to 4-3-5 and 1-0-2 in UEC play.
How it happened: After a scoreless first half, the Wildcats were the first strike as
Tad Shellenberger netted the first goal on an assist from
Spencer Price in the 52nd minute. The Lions went ahead with a pair of goals before
Logan Stapleton found the equalizer in the 86th minute where the score settled.
Inside the box: Penn College totaled six shots with four on goal while
Cole Catherman came away with four saves with the Lions firing off nine shots and six on goal.
