WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College freshman center fielder Dallas Griess (Williamsport, Pa.) was selected to the ABCA/Rawlings and D3Baseball.com All-Region 4 Third Teams, both organizations announced on Tuesday.The 2024 United East Rookie of the Year is the first Wildcat to earn two All-Region honors in the same season and joined Brittan Kittle (2021) to be selected to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region squad and Jacob Carles (2022) to land on the D3Baseball.com All-Region Team.

Griess is one of 10 United East representatives on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Teams and one of 13 conference representatives on the 2024 D3Baseball.com Region 4 Teams.

Griess, also a first-team all-conference selection, hit .386 on the season which was the 12th-best batting average in the conference and led the Wildcats with a .667 slugging percentage and .667 on-base percentage. He racked up 44 hits, seven doubles, four triples, five home runs and scored 38 runs. Griess registered 13 multi-hit games including six three-hit games and a 4-for-5 day with four runs scored against Lancaster Bible. 

The 2024 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year have been announced in all 10 regions. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.

The 2024 season marks the 12th season that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 1,000 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to D3baseball.com staff and contributors from which three teams in each region were determined.
