Leah Vest (Muncy, Pa.) earned her first career United East Women's Tennis Player of the Week award, announced on Tuesday.
Vest won two straight No.4 singles matches at Kean and Susquehanna while also going 1-1 at No. 2 doubles against the Cougars and River Hawks, respectively. Vest secured her first career individual victory against the Cougars on Friday with a 6-0, 6-1 score and her 7-6 (7-4) score with
Faith Murray at No. 2 doubles helped the Wildcats edge the Cougars, 4-3. The freshman Wildcats kept her winning momentum on Sunday with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at Susquehanna.
