HARRISBURG, Pa. — Penn College's men's golf team, led by medalist Gunner Redmond, recorded a 308 to win its fourth consecutive United East Conference Fall Preview during action at the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course on Thursday. It also marked the fourth year in a row that a Wildcat golfer medaled.
How it happened: With Redmond carding an eagle and two birdies en route to an even-par 72 and topping a field of 47 golfers, the Wildcats outdid seven other teams over the 7,121-yard course.
Inside the box: Behind Redmond were Chase Dillman, who shot 74 to tie for second, Brady Handy, who shot 78 to tie for ninth, Brett Keenan, who shot 84 to tie for 23rd, and Logan Gawlinski, who shot 88 to finish 33rd. Only the low four count toward the team score.
The field: Behind Penn College in the team standings were Penn State Harrisburg 310, Lancaster Bible College 315, Rutgers-Camden 318, Penn State Berks 324, Penn State Brandywine 339, Wilson College 347 and Penn State Abington 348.
