WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College wrestling looks to take the next step in its progression under second-year head coach
Dalton Rohrbaugh as the Wildcats are coming off one of the best seasons in program history. The Wildcats begin the 2025-26 campaign at the Tonee Ellis Memorial tournament at Alvernia on Saturday before taking a trip to Ithaca, N.Y., for the Ithaca Invitational next Friday and Saturday.
Last season: 7-2 dual match (AMCC 4-0), Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference duals and tournament champion.
Coach: Dalton Rohrbaugh, second season. Career dual record: 7-2.

Outlook: The Wildcats are coming Rohrbaugh's first season that included winning the first AMCC dual championship and first-ever team conference championship, most-ever individual conference champions (eight), a top 10 NCAA Division III Region 2Â team finish (the program's highest ever), five individual regional place winners (the most ever), and one NCAA Division III tournament qualifier in Noah Hunt.
Looking ahead, Rohrbaugh said, "(The) guys are doing great and focusing on training both their bodies and minds for the upcoming season. This team realizes how good they are, and we could see multiple guys having postseason success. Staying healthy will be key for us this year."
Inside the AMCC: The defending-champion Wildcats will compete in the conference duals with Alfred State, Penn State Altoona, Penn State Behrend and Pitt-Bradford on Jan. 10 at Alfred, New York, and host the AMCC Championship on Feb. 14 at Bardo Gymnasium.
