NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. -- For the second consecutive season, Penn College Wrestling earned the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team Academic Peak Performance award, which recognizes the team with the highest collective cumulative GPA in each sport, the league office announced. Individually, 25 Wildcat student-athletes earned a selection on the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team for maintaining a 3.2 GPA or higher for the Fall 2024 semester with 13 earning individual peak performer recognition as they had above a 3.5 GPA.

Cole Shupp, and
Bryan Tilney were all named to the Academic All-Conference squad.Â
"As a team, we strive to continually grow and get one-percent better each day. That includes both on the mat and in the classroom," First-year Head Coach
Dalton Rohrbaugh said. "After a successful year on the mat, I am proud to see the work ethic being applied in the classroom, as well. Our wrestlers continue to hold themselves to high academic standards."Â
The Wildcats finished the season undefeated in AMCC dual meets with a 4-0 record and 7-2 overall. The Wildcats claimed eight of 10 individual titles at the AMCC Championships to earn its first ever conference tournament title with a conference record 191.0 team points.
