LATHAM, N.Y. -- Penn College's Justin Crismale (Glen Gardner, N.J.) was named United East Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, announced on Monday. Crismale secured his first career weekly award after an undefeated 1-0-1 week against Keystone and Notre Dame (Md.) to keep his unbeaten conference streak active. 

The freshman goalkeeper posted two saves in a 4-1 victory against the Giants on Wednesday before turning in his fifth clean sheet of the season with four saves in a 0-0 draw against the Gators on Saturday. Crismale lowered his conference-leading goals-against average to just .800 while his .814 save percentage and five shutouts are also tops in the league.
