LATHAM, N.Y. -- Penn College sophomore Gigi Parlante (Williamsport, Pa.) was named United East Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, announced on Monday. Parlante earned her third career offensive weekly award after a season-high double-double in an 84-42 victory against Penn State Berks on Tuesday.

Parlante hit 11-of-16 from the field and went 7-for-9 at the line while grabbing a balanced five offensive and six defensive boards to score a 29-point, 11-rebound double-double. She also tallied four steals and dished out two assists in the victory.
