Jaiden Augustine (Dillsburg, Pa.) was named United East Baseball Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Augustine is the first conference player of the week selection since Cameron Dick earned the weekly award on April 11, 2022.
Augustine batted a team-best 11-20 (.550) with 11 RBIs, nine runs scored, one double, one triple and two stolen bases in six games for the Wildcats. His best day at the plate saw Augustine hit 3-for-3 with five RBIs and two runs scored against Penn State York on Tuesday. He hit one double and had a stolen base in the 15-5 victory.
In the United East opener against Valley Forge on Saturday, Augustine combined to go 5-for-7 (.714) at the plate with five RBIs and six runs scored in two games.
