BALTIMORE, Md. — Penn College's women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 United East decision at Notre Dame (Md.) University on Friday. Penn College is now 2-5 UE and 2-12 overall, while Notre Dame is 2-5 UE and 2-7 overall.

How it happened: Notre Dame claimed four singles and two of three doubles wins.

Inside the box: Penn College's singles winners were Ellen Buckley at No. 1 and Lauren Peck at No. 2, with the same two teaming for a win at No. 1 doubles.
