LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 383 student-athletes from 170 schools who comprise the 2025 NFCA Division III All-Region teams. Penn College senior
Mackenzie Weaver (Williamsport, Pa.) was named to the Division III Region IV Second Team.
Weaver, a third-team all-region selection in 2023, was named to the United East First Team and was the conference's Pitcher of the Year. She finished the regular season leading the United East in wins (15), ERA (1.32), innings pitched (142.2) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (6.68) and was second in total strikeouts (127). Her second Pitcher of the Year award, and fourth all-conference selection (3 first team nods), came after a season where she posted a 15-7 record in 24 appearances, 19 complete-game efforts and six shutouts on the season. Weaver spun double-digit strikeouts in three games against SUNY Canton (12), Rosemont (10) and Lancaster Bible (11).
DIII All-Region Teams
The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.
If they were not already voted to an All-Region squad, conference Players and Pitchers of the Year from member institutions are added to the third team in their region, so long as they are nominated by their member head coach and receive votes.
All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 28 online and on-site at the NCAA Division III Finals banquet in Bloomington, Ill.
