Box Score 4 MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Penn College softball sits 3-1 after its first half action at the Fast Pitch Dreams Classic in Myrtle Beach. The Wildcats earned a 1-0 walkoff win against Hilbert in the first game of the season before falling to Albion, 10-2 on Monday. PCT got back in the win column with victories against Rochester Christian (7-0) and Covenant College (6-5) on Tuesday.
Mackenzi Tice has racked up 23 strikeouts and two complete games to go 3-0 in the circle.
Sofia Mileto (.357),
Ryleigh Rinker (.333),
Payton Crawford (.333) and
Taylor Brown (.308) are all racking up the hits on offense.
Penn College completes its spring break week with two games on Thursday morning against Thiel and Valley Forge and Friday against Penn State Mont Alto (9 AM) and The College of New Jersey (1 PM).

W, 1-0 vs. Hilbert
The Wildcats earned a 1-0 walk-off victory against Hilbert for Coach Savage's first collegiate coaching win. Mileto scored the winning run on an
Astyn Calaman sac fly in the 7th. Six Wildcats collected hits while Tice pitched a 1-hit shutout in the win.
L, 10-2 vs. Albion
Penn College registered just four hits with Rinker accounting for two of them in a 10-2 loss. Mileto and Tice both crossed the plate while
Laney Wilson recorded an RBI.
Alivia Bizzarri struck out three in 3.1 innings of her collegiate debut.

W, 7-0 vs. Rochester Christian
PCT scored four runs in the second inning and one each in the third, fourth and sixth while Tice spun her second complete game shutout of the week with 11 Ks to get the Wildcats back on track. Tice also drove in the first run of the game on a bases-loaded ground out in the second.
Carissa Lusk doubled to score
Sam Shaw and Rinker and Mileto singled to score Lusk for the four-run inning. Tice and Lusk both finished with two RBIs at the plate and Lusk scored twice in the win.
W, 6-5 vs. Covenant College
Covenant took an early three-run lead in the bottom of the second before the Wildcats matched with three in the third. The Scots plated a run in the fourth and fifth innings before a come-from-behind effort in the top of the seventh sealed the second victory on Tuesday.
Harley Kunes started the rally by reaching on an error and Mileto put pressure on with a bunt single. Crawford and Brown both drove in a run with a pair of RBI singles to tie the game and Crawford later crossed the plate for the game-winner on an error.
Mileto and Brown both collected three hits to lead the offense while
Astyn Calaman recorded three RBIs. PCT emptied its arsenal in the circle as with Bizzarri tossing the first 1.2 innings, Wilson went 3.0 innings before Tice shut the door with three Ks in the final 2.1 innings for the win.
