Penn College of Technology Athletics

During Shaffer's four-year career, Penn College's baseball teams went 101-44, winning back-to-back Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) baseball championships in 2008 and 2009, and finished fourth in 2007 and 2010. As a freshman, Shaffer, of Hanover, was awarded PSUAC All-Academic honors, and went on to earn three-straight All-PSUAC first team honors in his final three seasons. Shaffer was also named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) first team during his junior year when he finished 9-2 with a 2.45 ERA.
