DALLAS, Pa. – Junior
Nathan Scott (Canton, Conn.) notched the lone win at first singles as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's tennis team lost 8-1 to Misericordia University Thursday. Scott swept Tony Goodall 6-4, 7-5 to win his third match on the year. Penn College battled in all its matches, taking three of the them to tiebreakers. The loss drops the Wildcats to 1-3 overall.
Scott partnered with sophomore
Jordan Rodgers (Biglerville) at first doubles and was just edged out 9-8 losing a 7-2 tiebreaker. Rodgers took the first set of his second singles match against Corey Dulskey but could not capture the win losing 6-3, 4-6, 8-10. The same was for sophomore
Christopher Morrin (Morrisville) who lost third singles 6-2, 2-6, 7-10.
Penn College next hosts Penn State Brandywine on Saturday, Apr. 5 for a noon match.
