WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Susquehanna University handed Penn College a 7-2 setback in a non-conference men's tennis match Tuesday. The Wildcats fell to 1-3, while the Crusaders remained unbeaten at 4-0.
Benjamin Leibig improved to 3-1 with a tough No. 1 singles match against Ben Ornstein. Leibig took the first set 7-5 before dropping the second, 6-4. He gritted out a third set 8-6 win for his third win this season.
Seth Strickland picked up the Wildcats second win with a 2-6, 6-2, 10-6 nod over Austin Gow in No. 6 singles.
Penn College returns to action Thursday, 4 p.m., hosting Lycoming College.
