DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Penn College shutout Bryn Athyn 9-0 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference tennis meet Friday. The Wildcats improved to 4-2, while the Lions dropped to 0-4.
Jordan Rodger and
Christopher Morrin teamed to win No. 1 doubles 8-1,
Benjamin Leibig and
Seth Strickland won the No. 2 doubles 8-3 and
Rommel Cressman and
Matt Kulp took the final doubles 8-5.
Rodgers won No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0 over Andrew Dexter, Leibig won his singles match 6-0, 6-1 against Kyle Watters and Morrin defeated Johnny Walker 6-3, 6-1 to give the Wildcats a 6-0 lead. Strickland, Cressman and Kulp finished the meet with singles victories.
Penn College returns to action Saturday at Penn State Abington.
