READING/LANCASTER, Pa. – Penn College dropped a pair of North Eastern Athletic Conference men's tennis matches Saturday to Penn State Berks and Lancaster Bible College. The Wildcats fell to the Lions, 9-0, before dropping a 5-4 decision to the Chargers in a completion of Friday's suspended match.
Penn College fell to 1-7 overall, 0-2 NEAC.
Against Penn State Berks,
The Lions won all by 12 games, with 11 set shutouts.
Against Lancaster Bible,
Benjamin Leibig and
Christopher Morrin picked up an 8-3 in No. 1 doubles, before both won their singles matches. Leibig picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win in No. 1 singles and Morrion earned a 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 win in No. 2 singles.
Ethan Rosler won No. 3 singles 6-2, 5-7, 6-2.
Bible won No. 2 and No. 3 doubles and 4-6 singles.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 12 p.m., hosting Bryn Athyn.
