WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 9-0 decision to Arcadia University in a non-conference men's tennis match Saturday. The Knights improved to 1-0, while the Wildcats fell to 0-1.
Matthew Elliott had the most competitive match in No. 2 singles against Drake Hanak. Elliott won the first set 6-0, before falling 6-2, 6-2, in the next two sets.
Blake Whitmire was also competitive in No.1 singles after losing the first set 6-1, be bowed in the second 6-4.
Penn College returns to action Thursday, 3:30 p.m., at Lebanon Valley.
