Box Score 2 ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — In their fall season finales, Penn College men's and women's tennis teams split on the road at Elizabethtown College on Sunday, with the men winning, 8-1, to improve to 5-1 and the women falling, 9-0, to drop to 1-6. The Elizabethtown men are 0-2 and its women are 2-0.
How it happened: The Penn College men won five of six singles matches and all three doubles matches.
Inside the box: Winners in singles for the Wildcat men were Tucker Phillippe-Johansson at No. 1, 6-1, 6-4; Alex Norris at No. 2, 6-3, 6-4; Paul Langbein at No. 3, 6-4, 6-3; Jesse Kight at No. 4, 5-7, 6-3, 11-9; and Zack Burkhart at No. 6, by forfeit. Doubles winners were Phillippe-Johansson/Langbein at No. 1, 8-2; Norris/Burkhart at No. 2, 8-4; and Kight/Tommy Cavanagh at No. 3, by forfeit.
For the women's team, Amber Leitzel had the most competitive match before falling at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 3-6, 10-12.
