WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College junior Kyla Benner (Bethlehem, Pa.) was named North Eastern Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week, it was announced Monday.

Benner spun the ball perfectly all game in the 14-0 victory over Morrisville on Saturday, rightfully earning her first career Perfect Game. The junior sat down eight batters across the full five innings while not allowing a single hit or base-on-balls. Benner also drove in a run for the Wildcats in her sole appearance at the plate that contest.

This is Benner's second career NEAC Pitcher of the Week honor, after earning the award in her freshman season.
