Box Score 2 WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College swept Juniata College in tennis on Sunday with the men winning, 6-3, and the women victorious, 7-2.
How it happened: The Penn College men captured four singles and two doubles matches while improving to 2-1 overall and the Wildcat women won five singles and two doubles matches in posting their first win against two losses.
Inside the box: Singles winners for the men's team were Tucker Phillippe-Johansson at No. 1, 6-2, 6-2; Alex Norris at No. 2, 6-4, 6-2; Paul Langbein at No. 3, 6-0, 6-3; and Jesse Kight at No. 4, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5 tiebreaker). Men doubles winners were Johansson-Langbein at No. 1, 8-3, and Norris-Kight at No. 2, 8-2.
Winning in singles for the women's squad were Georgia Macensky at No. 2, 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 tiebreaker; Amber Leitzel at No. 3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5 tiebreaker); Alexis Youse at No. 4, 6-2, 6-0; Delaney Bouton at No. 5, 6-0, 6-0; and Marcie Harman at No. 6, 6-1, 6-0. Penn College women's doubles winners were Macensky-Leitzel at No. 2, 8-3, and Youse-Harman at No. 3, 8-0.
