WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Penn College's Paul Langbein finished among the top four No. 1 men's singles tennis players over the weekend at the King's College Invitational.
How it happened: Langbein went 1-1 in the tournament, while also playing well for the Wildcats were Kyle Shuler at No. 2 singles, who lost in a second-set tiebreaker on Saturday, and Langbein-Shuler, who fell, 8-5, at No. 1 doubles on Saturday.
Inside the box: Langbein won his quarterfinal match on Saturday to advance to Sunday's semifinal, where he lost to Susquehanna University's Joshua Sanderson, 6-4, 6-1.
