Wildcats Down Lancaster Bible

LANCASTER, Pa. — Penn College's men's tennis team scored its second win of the season with a 7-2 United East win at Lancaster Bible College on Friday. The Wildcats now are 2-4 in the conference and 2-8 overall while Lancaster's men are 1-5 UE and 1-14 overall.

There was no women's match.

How it happened: Penn College captured five singles and two doubles matches.

Inside the box: Winning for the Wildcats in singles were Kyle Shuler at No. 1, 8-4 pro-set; Logan Ogden at No. 3, 8-7 (7-1 tiebreaker); Hunter Knosky at No. 4, 8-7 (9-7 tiebreaker); Jayden Manbeck at No. 5, 8-3; and Connor Pierce at No. 6, 8-6. Doubles winners were Knosky-Ogden at No. 2, 8-6; and Pierce-Manbeck at No. 3, 8-5.

Up next: Penn College closes out its regular season in a United East match at Cairn University at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
