Box Score 2 SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College's men's tennis team saw its record evened at 1-1 after a 7-0 loss to Susquehanna University on Saturday, while the Penn College women's team lost their fall opener 6-1, also to Susquehanna.
How it happened men: Susquehanna, now 2-0, won all six singles and three doubles matches. Penn College's most competitive matches came at No. 5 singles, where Seth Priestman lost 7-5, 6-3, and No. 1 doubles, where Alex Norris-John Finnegan lost 6-4.
How it happened women: Faith Murray scored the lone win for the Wildcats at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-2. In the other competitive match, Murray-Emlyn Kinley lost at No. 1 doubles 6-4, as Susquehanna improved to 1-1.
Up next: Penn College's women are at Lock Haven University at 1 p.m. on Sunday and its men are at King's College at noon on Sept. 29.
