LATHAM, N.Y. -- Seven Penn College women's soccer standouts earned United East All-Conference recognition after the league released its postseason major awards and All-Conference list on Thursday. Freshman
Ella Garman led the pack as she earned a first-team forward spot and selected by the league's head coaches as the Women's Soccer Rookie of the Year.Â

Mikayla Gordon and
Sierra Klinger landed on the second team and

Gordon and the back line helped produce 12 shutouts and limited opponents to just 10 goals allowed (3 in conference) and 6.7 shots per game. Offensively, Gordon scored two goals and posted a team-high eight assists.
Mikayla Gordon (Slatington, Pa.) played more than 1,100 minutes in 13 starts and 19 appearances for the Wildcats. The freshman midfielder scored two goals and handed out five assists on the season.Â

Gamble (Selinsgrove, Pa.) was another solid defender for the Wildcats this season stepping in for more than 1,600 minutes in all 20 starts this season. Gamble joined
Ashley Gordon in limiting opponents to the 31st-best mark in goals-against average (.506) and 51st in shutout percentage (.600).
Solano (Shavertown, Pa.) returned from a first-half injury and compiled a 6-3 record with four shutouts in her nine appearances to earn her first all-conference bid. The senior goalkeeper posted 44 saves and allowed just six goals for a 0.72 goals-against average and .880 save percentage as the last line of the league's top defense.
