WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Four Penn College Women's soccer student-athletes were selected to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Division III Women's Soccer Team the organization announced on Tuesday. Senior midfielder
Brooke Klinger (Herndon, Pa.) earned her third all-district selection while senior midfielder
Olivia Casella (South Williamsport, Pa.) picked up her second all-district honor. Senior forward
Sara Darlington (West Chester, Pa.) and sophomore defender
Sierra Klinger (Herndon, Pa.) were selected to their first Academic All-District Team.
Student-athletes selected to the 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team must be at least a sophomore or above, maintain a cumulative 3.50 GPA or higher and have competed in 90% of the institution's contests or have started in 66% of the contests during the 2025 season.
Brooke Klinger became the first three-time Academic All-District selection in Penn College history. A dental hygiene major with a 3.67 GPA, started in all 19 games played and was third on the team with eight goals and 17 total points.
Casella secured her second all-district selection with a 3.83 GPA as an accounting student. Casella started in 14 of her 19 appearances and tallied eight points on two goals and four assists in her senior campaign.
Darlington and
Sierra Klinger earned their first Academic All-District nods as the two played pivotal roles for both side of the field. Darlington, a concrete science technology student with a 3.66 GPA, led the Wildcats and was second in the conference with 21 goals and 49 total points. Klinger, a 3.90 accounting major, was part of a defensive unit that ranked 23 in Division III with a 0.506 goals-against average for a team that allowed just 10 goals all season.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on December 17.
