Penn College men, women fall at Penn State Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn College's men's and women's tennis teams lost United East Conference matches at Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday, the men falling 5-2 and the women losing 6-1. The Penn College men are now 0-1 in the UE and 1-4 overall and its women are 1-1 in the UE and 2-7 overall. Harrisburg's men are 2-0 in the conference and 4-4 overall, while its women are 2-0 UE and 4-3 overall.

How it happened men: PS Harrisburg won four singles and all three doubles matches.

On the court men: Posting wins for the Wildcats were Logan Ogden at No. 3 singles, 7-5, 6-4, and Matt Williams at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 2-6, 6-6 (8-6 tiebreaker).

How it happened women: PS Harrisburg captured five singles and three doubles matches.

On the court women: Posting the lone victory for Penn College was Kiera Wene at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-0.

Up next: Penn College hosts St. Mary's (Md.) College at 4 p.m. on Saturday in a UEC match.
