WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite taking two of the three doubles matches, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's tennis team lost a tight 5-4 match to Susquehanna University Tuesday. It came down to the last match with Tyler Haussener sweeping freshman James Jeffries (Bedford) 6-1, 6-0 for the victory. Penn College now falls to 1-2 overall.

Junior Nathan Scott (Canton, Conn.) and sophomore Jordan Rodgers (Biglerville) won their third straight first doubles match 8-2. Rodgers downed his second singles opponent in straight sets 6-3, 6-0 to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Sophomore Christopher Morrin (Morrisville) and Jeffries won their second doubles match 8-5 and Morrin followed it up with a grueling two-set victory 6-3, 6-4 at third singles.

Penn College next travels to Misericordia University on Thursday, Apr. 3 for a 3:30 p.m. match.
