Men's Tennis: Wildcats Finish Season with Victory

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After losing to them earlier in the season, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's tennis team got its revenge defeating Penn State Brandywine 6-3 in the team's final match of the season. The Wildcats swept all doubles match and battled in the singles rounds to clinch the victory. They now end the season 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

Junior Nathan Scott (Canton, Conn.) and sophomore Jordan Rodgers (Biglerville) started things off taking first doubles 8-4 while sophomore Christopher Morrin (Morrisville) and freshman James Jeffries (Bedford) took second doubles with a tight 9-8 (7-5) margin. Freshmen Noah Stahl (Sunbury) and Taylor Herb (Sunbury) held off their third flight opponents for the 8-6 win.

In singles, Rodgers swept second flight 7-5, 6-1 and Jeffries edged out his opponent at fourth singles 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), 10-2. Stahl rounded out the winners taking fifth flight 7-6 (8-6), 6-1.
