WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Lycoming College dealt Penn College an 8-1 setback in a non-conference men's tennis match Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 1-4, while the Warriors improved to 2-2.
Christopher Morrin picked up Penn College's lone win with a 6-0, 6-2 win against Joe Amento in No. 2 singles. Morrin and
Benjamin Leibig had a competitive match in No. 1 doubles, dropping 9-8 (7-3).
Jake Pichola and
Seth Strickland also had a battle in No. 3 doubles, dropping a 7-4 tiebreaker after a 9-8 loss in the first set.
Penn College wrapped up its fall season and will return to action in the spring.
