Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster Bible converted a penalty kick early in the second half and held on for a 1-0 win over Penn College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 9-7-1 overall, 8-3 NEAC, while the Chargers improved to 12-4, 11-1.
After a scoreless first half, Lancaster Bible was fouled in the box which resulted in Raegan Horst sneaking a penalty kick to the left side of the net in the 46
th minute.
The Wildcats were held to just one shot on goal when
Caitlin McCarthy's attempt was stopped early in the contest.
LBC finished with 22 shots and held a 5-2 advantage on corner kicks.
Colleen Bowes picked up four saves for Penn College, while Kaitlyn Scheuing had one stop.
The Wildcats return to action Sunday, 12 p.m., hosting Penn State Berks.
