WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Six Penn College women's soccer student-athletes were selected to the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Division III Women's Soccer Team the organization announced on Tuesday. Senior forward Kaelynn Sheetz, junior goalkeeper Nicole Lichtinger, midfielder Shannon O'Day and defender BillieGean Hennessy and sophomore midfielder Wiley Egan and defender Brooke Klinger were all selected to the team. 

Student-athletes selected to the 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team must be at least a sophomore or above, maintain a 3.50 GPA or higher and have competed in 90% of the institution's contests or have started in 66% of the contests during the 2023 season.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on December 20.
