LATHAM, N.Y. -- Penn College's Gigi Parlante (Williamsport, Pa.) repeated as the United East Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, announced on Monday. Parlante nearly averaged a double-double in two Wildcat victories against Penn State Abington and Penn State Schuylkill. 

In the conference opener against Penn State Abington on Wednesday, Parlante scored 17 points on 7-for-12 shooting and nine boards. She also added two assists and one block in a 61-58 win. On Saturday against Penn State Schuylkill, Parlante recorded her fourth double-double and led the Wildcats in scoring (26 points), rebounds (10), assists (7) and steals (4) in an 81-34 win. For the week, Parlante shot 72% (18-25) and 77% (7-for-9) from the free throw line while grabbing eight offensive rebounds and 11 defensive boards.
